E4 recommissions third series of comedy PhoneShop

The critically acclaimed and multi award winning comedy series PhoneShop is set to return to E4 with a 6 x 30 third series for early 2013.

On High Street UK the priority is to ‘shift units, make money and smash targets...' and no one knows this better than the staff of Sutton's premier mobile phone store, PhoneShop.

Lance (Martin Trenaman) and his team - Jerwayne (Javone Prince), Ashley (Andrew Brooke), Janine (Emma Fryer) and Christopher (Tom Bennett) - are back with more rip-roaring slices of life from the heart of the High Street.

Acting Head of Comedy, Nerys Evans said: "We're thrilled we're going to be spending more time with Sutton's finest sales team. The economy is clearly in safe hands with the PhoneShop crew's dedication to shifting units while attempting to run the high street."

Writer, director and producer Phil Bowker added, "Oh shit, I'd better get writing. Has anyone got a pen I can borrow?"

PhoneShop is written, directed and produced by Phil Bowker (Sharon Horgan & Dennis Kelly's Pulling, Sean Lock's 15 Storeys High) and will feature the hugely-talented ensemble core cast of Tom Bennett (Pulling), Andrew Brooke (Pulling, Dr Who), Emma Fryer (Home Time, Ideal), Javone Prince (Horrible Histories) and Martin Trenaman (The Inbetweeners).
