Ben Wheatley's Sightseers, Peter Strickland's Berberian Sound Studio and Walter Salles' On the Road will have their North American premieres, along with Michael Winterbottom's Everyday, a Channel 4 drama commission which will be broadcast on the channel this autumn.

Channel 4's Controller of Film and Drama, Tessa Ross, will also be taking part in one of the festival's Moguls sessions, where influential industry figures are invited to share their experiences and insights into the film world.

Tessa Ross, Controller of Film and Drama, says: "We're delighted to have such a broad range of films selected for this year's festival, which between them showcase the wonderful variety of talent and projects Film4 supports. We can't wait for North American audiences to discover them."

Toronto International Film Festival runs from 6th - 16th September.
